About the Story
As I prepared for a full day of teaching children nervous system regulation and emotional intelligence, I wondered how these lessons could live on beyond the classroom. That’s when a melody arrived… followed by a rhythm… and soon a tune. A special song for a special someone. Before I knew it, an interactive story unfolded — featuring five majestic animals and one jolly Good Egg — all coming together to teach children (and the grown-ups who love them) how to use their breath as a powerful tool for calming big feelings, building inner strength, and reconnecting to their natural emotional wisdom.
This gentle, playful journey invites young readers to breathe, feel, and remember what’s already inside them.
It also makes storytime more fun and engaging, with optional online moves and tunes that bring the tale to life — supporting connection, embodiment, and learning through play.
Carefully crafted to be catchy, joyful, and easy to remember, The Good Egg supports emotional learning in a way that stays with children long after the story ends.
